This Global Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes the manner in which Todd Yancey and related companies (collectively, “Todd Yancey”) may use, maintain and disclose information that we collect from you when you visit or interact with Todd Yancey’s social media platforms, our websites (collectively, “Websites”), sign up to attend or participate in an event or webinar, download a white paper or other materials, and inquire about our “Offerings.” For purposes of this Notice, the terms “user,” “you” and “your” refer to the individuals about whom we may collect personal information.

Our Websites include links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Todd Yancey. Todd Yancey’s Websites and Offerings are not directed at children, and Todd Yancey does not knowingly collect or sell personal information from individuals under the age of 16.

For California consumers subject to the CCPA, in the preceding 12 months Todd Yancey has collected the categories of business contact information, commercial information, internet/network/device activity, geolocation data, and audio/electronic/visual data.

Todd Yancey collects your information when you sign up to attend events or webinars, sign up for contests or promotions, sign up for SMS or email alerts, download materials, agree to be recorded, log in to a Website feature or portal, visit a Todd Yancey office, participate in a partner reward program, visit our Websites or social media platforms, sign up for a free product trial, make a purchase, or participate in our community forums, polls, and questionnaires.
3. How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
Todd Yancey may use your personal information to provide requested information and resources; manage your accounts; send alerts and notifications related to our Offerings; send marketing materials where you have not opted out; analyze feedback; respond to referrals; secure our equipment, intellectual property, and assets; diagnose and fix problems; maintain endpoint and network security; prevent and investigate fraud or unlawful activity; comply with contractual, legal and regulatory obligations; enforce our Terms and Conditions; carry out a corporate transaction; comply with legal process; protect safety; interact with our professional advisors; and share with third parties to the extent you consent or direct.

In addition to information collected directly from you, we collect personal information from partners and resellers, Todd Yancey-related companies, social media platforms, data brokers, providers of user-generated content, communication services where you grant permission, and referrers.

6. What Is Todd Yancey’s Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data?
Where the law requires a legal reason for collecting and using your personal information (such as the EU or UK GDPR), the reason depends on the type of information and why we collect it: your consent (where required), the necessity to fulfill an agreement with you or your company, our legitimate interests (such as operating our Websites, responding to requests, and marketing our Offerings), or compliance with legal requirements. As a global organization, Todd Yancey may transfer your personal information outside your home jurisdiction in accordance with applicable data protection laws and with adequate protection in place. Todd Yancey complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and its privacy practices comply with the APEC Cross-Border Privacy Rules System and the Global CBPR System.

Subject to the conditions and restrictions set out under applicable law and/or Privacy Frameworks, you may have the right to request access to, and correction or deletion of, your personal information; to object to or restrict its processing and request portability; and to complain to Todd Yancey and/or a data protection authority. If you have consented to our collection and use of your personal information, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA applies to you, and you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use, disclose, share and sell it; request correction; instruct us to delete it; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal data; not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights; and designate an authorized agent.
